in a few words
I can love you without resorting to
the corny cliches of
sweet utterances,
holding hands
or clinging to your manly strength,
I can close my eyes
and sleep
in your night
while you deconstruct the stars,
to contemplate upon this
endearment
such a love that is not loving
but holds me close
to your heart.
