Memory

May this touch be yours
And the midnight hour
All treasures disclose,

May your heart recall
In the years to come
Forever this moment,

Life will be light
And existence nothing

You will feel
The weight of this universe
Entwining you with the eternal

How will you divorce such bondage?
Stem, root and earth
The exposure of an enclosure,

In the seed of your desires
Lies germinating your fate
The many faces of your fires,

I am but a name;
This over-crowded constellation
In a continuous sequence acquires

My real self lives
Outside of the material ways
Amidst the blades of grass

Inside the tiny space that time
In your memory made.
